Digital Literature Review

December 31, 2014 – 01:57 pm
Is an academic journal edited, produced, and published by undergraduate students partnered with the English Department at Ball State University. Our goal is to showcase the valuable contributions of hardworking, creative students from all over the world.

The Digital Literature Review is looking for submissions for our third issue, titled “Freak Shows and Human Zoos.” Submissions should focus on topics such as the exhibition of humans, turn-of-the-century zoos and museums displaying humans as exhibits, sideshow acts, and anatomy theatres. We welcome original, engaging, scholarly submissions that explore the cultural significance of human zoos from the perspective of a wide range of academic disciplines, including criminal justice, philosophy, anthropology, and literary studies.
