You can blame all on may be those larger-than-life Bollywood movies of Salman Khan or perhaps on those romantic novels we all use to read in our teenage. Well talking about novels, Pakistani novels have a huge following, well thank our own people for it! Huh… it was just a joke, I swear reading novels are the best thing that has happened to my life and I believe it’s everyone’s favorite time pass too.

Though these 10 Urdu novels are quite different from each other, the only thing similar between them is love. Come find out the 10 novels you should read to understand true love. Feel free to add some more!

1. Abdullah

Abdullah is written by Hashim Nadeem Khan, It is a very Beautiful Socio Romantic Novel on the Journey of Self Realization (Ishq e Haqiqi). Abdullah is one of the record breaking novels by Hashim Nadeem Khan. The story unfolds the journey of the virtual love to the real love.

2. Humsafar

Humsafar by Farhat Ishtiaq is a beautifully written romantic novel on the strong relationship of husband-wife, which further gets strong by the bond of their children. The story of the novel reinforce that the life partners not only need love to live a happy married life but trust and confidence in each other. It also plays a major role in one’s life.

3. Amrit Kaur

Amarbail is a love story of Umar Jehangir and Aleezay Sikandar, both belongs to bureaucratic culture. A wonderfully written novel of Umaira Ahmed depicts multiple issues of our society in a very interesting manner. It is a story of broken families, imbalanced relationships, hope, love and sacrifices. The story highlights the true face of our bureaucratic system.
